Another name for Bologna is
La Rossa
, the red one, so-called for two reasons: the architecture, and its historical fascist and / or communist leanings, depending on the decade.
Why it's a bad idea to go places on Sundays: EVERYTHING IS CLOSED. Well, everything except the occasional Peruvian pipe flute band. (See below.)
